Sanka Sammana is a photographic artist and creator. Sanka has a wealth of experience in art photography and has received numerous recognitions, distinctions awards and medals for his work not only in Sri Lanka but across many international exhibitions and competitions as well.
Sanka’s distinctions and titles include the ‘Excellence-FIAP’ (EFIAP) distinction (2016) from The International Federation of Photographic Art and the GPU Crown 2 (2016) & Aphrodite (2017) from the Global Photographic Union. , LPSS from Photographic Society of Singapore and (GAPU ) Grand Exhibitor Asian Photographic Union Singapore.
Sanka has also been bestowed titles and distinctions from the National Association of Photographers (FNAPSL), The National Photographic Art Society of Sri Lanka (ANPAS) and the Institute of Sri Lankan Photographers (AISLP). Sanka was also recognized as ‘People Photographer of the Year’ 2015 by Asian Geography Magazine, Singapore.
